Research conducted by participants of The Movement for Public Journalism led by journalist Linoy Bar Gefen has been published in Yediot-Ahronot and revealed that over one third of drivers charge pay that is hundreds of percent higher than is allowed by law
The Ministry of Transportation subsidizes the drivers’ licenses of taxi drivers provided they make their vehicles accessible to people who are handicapped. Research conducted by the participants of The Movement for Public Journalism led by journalist Linoy Bar Gefen revealed that over one third of them charged hundreds of percent higher sums than allowed by law.
